Ticketing Procedure:

For this year's event admission is required for all spectators over the
age of 6. You may purchase either a tournament weekend pass for $15, or
single day tickets for $6. Tickets may be purchased in the lobby of the
Minneapolis Convention Center at the event, or they may be purchased in
advance online at clicknprint tickets. We highly recommend using the
online advance purchase for the weekend passes to avoid waiting in line at
the event.
* Advance Online purchases: Go to
https://tix.extremetix.com/tix/MCC
and
place your order. Be sure to print out the paper receipt ticket that has
the funny square ink splotch (actually a bar code) in the upper right part
of the page. Bring that paper receipt with you to the Minneapolis
Convention Center Lobby and go to the Pre Purchased Ticket Line. At that
booth your paper receipt will be scanned to verify it, and you will be
issued a wristband for the entire weekend or your single day wristband.
Remember, you must bring the paper ticket receipt to get your wristband.
Single day passes purchased online are date specific and cannot be
interchanged.
* Ticket purchases at the event: You may purchase a daily ticket or a
weekend pass at the Minneapolis Convention Center. Payment forms which
will be accepted are cash or credit card. No checks will be accepted.

WEEK ONE
April 19-21, 2008 Saturday-Monday (dates of play)
Hotel reservation dates: April 18 (arrive) - April 21, 2008 (depart)
Teams attending: 13 Black and White; 16 Elite, Black, White and Purple; 17 Black and 18 Black
Players and chaperones for teams all have confirmed hotel reservations. Players stay in the hotel with their teammates. If you are interested in chaperoning for a team, please contact Renee at sunsettersvball@aol.com
The teams will be staying at the following hotel: Marriott City Center, 30 S. 7th Street, Minneapolis, MN 55402
Players are to arrive in Minneapolis no later than 9:00 pm on Friday, April 18, 2008.
At this time, playing schedules are not yet available. If you choose to fly to Minneapolis, your flight must NOT depart prior to 6:00 pm the last day of tournament play. Tournament play the last day is single round elimination. Questions, please contact Renee sunsettersvball@aol.com
Reservations for hotels are also available through the following links – please note all reservations are subject to availability, as hotel rooms are at a premium. You do not have to stay in the same hotel as the players. We also advise if you can not make reservations at the same hotel, you make a reservation at another hotel and continue to check if rooms become available at your first choice. The closer to tournament time – the more rooms become available due to cancellations.

There will not be a team flight offered this year to the Northern Lights tournament.
NOTE: No player should be flying alone to Minneapolis. Any player that is attending the tournament alone should be driving with a teammate, flown with another teammate’s family or contact Renee (sunsettersvball@aol.com) for the coaches’ flight information so you can book the player on the same flight. For those players only needing transportation one way to Minneapolis, we suggest traveling with another player. If you need help with those arrangements, please contact Renee.

Teams attending: 14 Black and White; 15 Black, White and Purple

The teams will be staying at the following hotel: Doubletree Guest Suites, 1101 LaSalle Avenue, Minneapolis, MN (please note the address – there are 2 Doubletree Hotels!),
