COACHES PROFILE

  Tina Fischer - 17 Black

Tina started playing VB 20 some years ago.  As her VB career progressed into high-school she was a member of the freshman and JV teams and finished her remaining two years on varsity.  While on the varsity team, she was a middle hitter.  In her senior year the team posted many school records including a 35-4 overall record with the school’s first ever win over Mother McCauley to send them to the State Tournament.  After high school she spent a short time assisting a Chicago land volleyball club, then continued her schooling at Triton College where she was an outside hitter for their team and helped them win the conference championship.  For the next three summers, Tina coached at a local volleyball camp for 5-8th graders, and finished her organized VB career at St. Norbert College.  During her time at St. Norbert she primarily played back row and enjoyed yet another conference championship.  As an adult, Tina has continued to play in local volleyball leagues. This will be Tina's fifth season with Sunsetters VBC.
